A little bit about me and my little angel business (fun fact: I call my employees little angels)!

 

I never had any interest in the beauty field growing up. I never cared to do my hair and I only ever explored cheap dollar stores and Five Below makeup. I learned about lash extensions probably close to the end of 2019 when one of my coworkers had lashes. I started getting them done and really loved the look and felt that this could be something of interest! It actually was not until the second day of quarantine, back in March of 2020, when I was unemployed, due to the world shutting down, and my master’s program transitioned to online, when I enrolled into beauty school. If you know me, I am always go go go… I HATE feeling bored or sitting still.

 

I did some research in local schools and enrolled at the Beauty Institute in Allentown. Not only was I now in beauty school, but I was also in my last year of grad school working towards my master’s in counseling psychology! I graduated from Esthetics school in September 2020 and officially became licensed in October 2020. Due to the pandemic, our practical experience was very vague, to the point we could not even perform facials due to wearing masks. Once I graduated, I felt I had no idea really what I was doing, so I turned to family and friends for hands-on experience! It was very quickly after school I knew I did not want to work for a company because I mainly wanted to focus on lashes. I did some research and found a small little suite and signed in December 2020! I officially opened in January 2021 and the rest is history! Starting Lashes by Lindsey with ZERO paying clients, to having serviced over 1,200+ in a matter of two and a half years! I take pride in my business and making it everything I want it to be!

I have an amazing team of girls who I absolutely love and adore and the best part about it is that they are all ride or die for Lashes By Lindsey!
